Precy Sacapaño, a fifty-year-old mother of six used to make a living out of building sandcastles. She is one of the 31 men and women who build miniature replicas of castles along the beaches of Boracay in the municipality of Malay, Aklan—much to the delight of passersby and tourists. Even children…
TSS. This is very selfish. The local municipality of Bora is not helping their local citizens to go up! Besides, the sandcastles are already considered a part of Bora! I mean, when my family first went to Bora when it was still a virgin from all the racket, sandcastles were one of the many attractions that excited me. I remember having tons of photos taken with sandcastles that are beautifully, handmade and displayed for tourists. Its too sad that, now, before a sandcastle can be built by talented people, they have to pay first. Sheesh. As if the local government really owns the sand!
